FIVE FRIDAY FAVORITES

Hello everyone, happy Friday!  Time gets away from me, it's been a bit since I've shared a Five Friday Favorites list with you but I have some good ones today!  I'm currently sitting in a waiting room while my Mom has surgery to repair a torn meniscus... my sisters and I are about to be on nurse duty for the near future!  In between caretaking we're also squeezing in a trip to the OKC Arts Festival this weekend where my niece has an exhibit of her paintings .  We're so excited for her- if you're local and are going, look for Evie Griffin's booth! OK, on to this week's favorites! I'm loving this mix of  pink and red tulips !  I think they are incredibly realistic and I've found about 5 places around my house that I want to use this arrangement... ha!  I peeled the petals apart and bent them on just a few stems to make them look more realistic.  The two bunches that I bought gave me this big arrangement and about 10 stems left over that I put toget......

NATURAL TEXTURES AND SOFT COLORS EASTER TABLE SETTING 2025

Greetings to you this Holy Week!  I've got my Easter table all set and ready for this weekend.  We will be at my Mom's house with extended family on Easter itself, but our immediate family will gather over the weekend so I plan for us to eat dinner together here after our Good Friday service.  This year I used a combination of natural textures and softer Spring colors, but there is still a variety of plenty of color!   To start, I used a pair of rattan lanterns and a trio of fresh flower arrangements for the centerpiece.  The lanterns were from Dillards Southern Living Christmas collection, I picked them up on clearance after the holidays.  I liked the depth that the tortoise glasses added in the mix and thought they paired well with the lanterns and bamboo flatware.  I have a mix of a few different kinds of flowers from Trader Joe's, along with some viburnum and pincushion clippings from the yard.  I used the bow folding technique again like......

CUTE SPRING DRESSES!

'Tis the season for showers, weddings, graduations, Easter, Mother's Day... all the celebrations!  I have several events coming up in my schedule and I've been shopping for some good dresses for those occasions.  I chose several cute Spring dresses to try out and a few for Emily as well, sharing those today along with a larger group that I selected that I thought you might like too.  I've included a variety of retailers and price points, but most are on sale right now which is always a bonus!  I have several that are part of the Amazon Big Spring Sale ( posted all of my sale picks here ) so don't miss those good prices this week. DEAL ALERT! MY AMAZON BIG SPRING SALE FAVORITES

DIMPLES AND TANGLES READS: BOOKS I'M LOVING LATELY {6}

Hello friends!  I have a new round of books I'm loving to share with you today.  I can't keep up with sharing these as quickly as I read... I already have two other lists I've read through and need to get written up! I love to read.... check the end of this post for links to my previous suggested books if you've missed those.  As a reminder, I'll give a brief summary here (enough to tell you I recommend the book!) without a lot of details, but am linking each book here out of convenience if you'd like to read the more detailed summaries.  However,  I generally check them out from the library, either the physical copy or digital copies through  the "Libby" app  and then upload them to my Kindle account (or you can read directly through the app).  If you're not familiar with Libby I highly recommend it for free e-books and audiobooks by registering with your library card.
