DEAL ALERT! MY AMAZON BIG SPRING SALE FAVORITES

DIMPLES AND TANGLES READS: BOOKS I'M LOVING LATELY {6}

Hello friends!  I have a new round of books I'm loving to share with you today.  I can't keep up with sharing these as quickly as I read... I already have two other lists I've read through and need to get written up! I love to read.... check the end of this post for links to my previous suggested books if you've missed those.  As a reminder, I'll give a brief summary here (enough to tell you I recommend the book!) without a lot of details, but am linking each book here out of convenience if you'd like to read the more detailed summaries.  However,  I generally check them out from the library, either the physical copy or digital copies through  the "Libby" app  and then upload them to my Kindle account (or you can read directly through the app).  If you're not familiar with Libby I highly recommend it for free e-books and audiobooks by registering with your library card. UPDATED BLUE AND WHITE CURTAINS AND DRAPERY FABRIC SOURCES

When I share any photos that show my blue and white curtains, I'm often asked for sources.  I made all of my drapery myself, so I don't have exact sources to share.  I have shared fabric names and similar ready made drapery options in the past, several years ago I wrote a post sharing all of the information.   However, availability has changed since then and I wanted to update that post to be able to share some current sources.  So, here's my updated blue and white curtains source guide!  I'll start by saying that most of the fabric I used seems to have since been discontinued, or difficult to find in a web search.  If you have access to decorator fabric warehouses these exact prints might still be found in those or local shops.  I'll share the fabric info. again so it's accessible if you're searching and I've included some similar fabrics that are available online below.   The fabric I used in the Living Room and Breakfast Nook is a Vern Yip......

VALENTINE'S DAY 2025 DECORATIONS AROUND OUR HOME

As I mentioned in my last post , using red, white, and pink for Valentine's Day is right up my decorating alley! This year I kept the Valentine's decor on the simple side and focused on just a few spots in our living areas.  I'll start in our Entry which is always one of my favorite spots to sprinkle in some holiday or seasonal fun.  I had a few packs of paper heart doilies from the dollar store and just lined them up in a pattern on the mirror! (Looped masking tape on the back does the trick.) Other than that, I gathered a couple of busts and you know I always have to embellish them a bit... and I can't resist throwing some disco balls in the mix too.  I ordered these tulips the other day when I didn't want to run to Trader Joe's for fresh... they were on my porch when I woke up the next morning and are SO realistic at about the same cost of a real bouquet! I separated the petals on a few of them for an even more life-like look.  Highly recommend! As much as ......
