HONEY HAVEN {MY FAVORITE 5}

Today, I'd like for you to meet Claire from Honey Haven.  I met Claire at Haven this summer, and she's just the sweetest, most genuine, youngest blogger I know!  Somehow she got stuck with some of us old ladies and we were so happy to take her under our wing.  I wish I would have had such a fantastic eye for design when I was Claire's age!  She just started blogging this year and she's knocking out some gorgeous projects.  Enjoy getting to know Claire today!

Hi there, I'm Claire from Honey Haven!  I started following Dimples and Tangles awhile back and like all of you, I got hooked! I mean, is her home even real?!?  Talk about gawgeous!  I met Jennifer (in real life) at Haven Conference and am so glad that we became blog friends!  She is such an inspiration to me, and I couldn't be happier to be hanging out with all of you today!

I am sharing five of my favorite posts to give you an idea of what goes on over at Honey Haven.  I am a design enthusiast by heart and DIYer by choice.  I DIY because I truly love the feeling of creating a high-end piece on a tight budget.  (And my husband loves me for it! ;) )

This Furniture Makeover was one of my very first blog posts!  I gave an extremely detailed tutorial on how to achieve a beautiful matte finish.  I was really happy with how this piece turned out and always get compliments on it!

I created this Summer Tablescape a few months ago to get ready for my favorite season... you guessed it, summer!!!  I'm not a fan of the transition between summer and fall because it's still 95 degrees outside (at least in Austin), yet people are putting out their pumpkins and fall leaves.  Anyway, I would be happy with this vibrant table setting 12 months of the year! :)

Every now and then I like to throw in a recipe that I found and enjoyed.  These dark chocolate coconut granola bars are to. die. for. Seriously.  My husband and I went on a MAJOR clean eating kick (I'm talking he lost 30 pounds clean eating kick), and these bars were our favorite!  We're taking a quick vacation from our clean eating but hoping to get back on board soon!

I'm currently designing my little sister's teen bedroom, and I gave two of these Walmart dressers a major makeover!  I love the coral paired with the gold hardware, and more importantly, my sis approves!!  I'm hoping to finish the room soon so I can share with all of you!

This desk nook is also from my sister's bedroom.  I used Wallternative Decals and love their impact on the desk!  Hopefully it will hold up to all that high school studying... ;)

Thank you all for having me today!!  I'd love if you stopped by and visited me over at Honey Haven or on Instagram!  I am currently working on several fun projects that I am dying to share!! XOXO

You guys know how much I love a good tablescape, isn't Claire's summer set-up just the most fun?  And man, does she have one lucky sister...that room is amazing!  I'm always up for a quick, easy custom DIY like Claire's Greek Key trimmed curtains, and you won't want to miss her latest living room update.  Wow!

Thanks for being here today, Claire!
